Still Going

This is my third week doing Insanity and so far I’m doing OK. The programme has workouts six days per week, which I feel makes it even harder for me because I rather use weekends for fun activities. I’ve missed two days but
I’m not going to beat myself up about it. Yesterday was the second fit test but I did Pure Cardio instead; it was suppose to be done on Saturday. I did today’s workout this morning and I will try to do the fit test later.

I have a love hate relationship with exercising, would you believe I’m bored with this already?! As you can see, for the first month you do a rotation of five exercises. When I’m doing it I push because I don’t see the sense in wasting an hour of my life that I will never get back, its better I do it properly or don’t do it at all. I have two exercise buddies, three if you count my daughter (that child is like a mean gym instructor!), so it has helped a lot. A big shout out to Ebony of www.Longing4Length and Tai of www.strandedhhj.com Do check out their blogs, they are amazing and have been on their hair journeys way longer than I have so they know a thing or two. They also have plenty of useful information for newbie’s like me.

Stay Blessed,
Candice

  1. I have the Insanity DVD but I've never had the boldness to do go past the fitness test. How much weight have you lost so far?

  2. Hi Dr Fomsky, thanks for stopping by :)

I'm not exercising to lose weight, just tone. I don't know how much I weigh, my goal is to develop a healthy lifestyle, I have a 9 year old daughter and I want to lead by example.

Give that Insanity DVD a try you might surprise yourself! That voice in your head is a liar!! I'm rooting for you! You are allowed to hail threats at the television and use foul launguage in your head lol it helps :)

  3. I thought it was just me who gets bored easily. What ends up happening is I start a new program, go hard for awhile, and then look for something else to inject excitement back into my routine.

    1. Nope! you're not alone there Tai, the longest I have ever stuck to exercising, in all my years of trying to workout, is when I was checking in with you and Ebony last year. I'm determined to change that lol so I'm definitely going to be your pest on twitter! :D
